Karl Rove, the Koch brothers, and Sheldon Adelson are spending a combined $8.2 million to buy a Senate seat in the Florida race.  Rove has stated his Super PAC, American Crossroads, has reserved $6.2 million in TV ad time dedicated to defeating Democrat, Bill Nelson.  Sheldon Adelson has given $1 million to Freedom PAC, a Super PAC against Bill Nelson.

It seems these billionaires have figured out that Republican Connie Mack Jr. will be their willing and able puppet if they can get him elected, so they are showering Florida with negative ads about the veteran moderate Democratic Senator Bill Nelson.
