Republicans’ Position On The Health Care Individual Mandate

The goals are simple: reduce taxes for big corporations and billionaires (while raising taxes for everyone else), end worker’s rights, and deregulate the banking and oil industries.  To achieve those goals, Republicans have to oppose something they once whole-heartedly endorsed because Democrats used it in one of their signature accomplishments.  The Republicans are doing that right now in their opposition to the Affordable Care Act’s individual mandate.  They have no shame in demonizing the individual mandate as “taking away our freedom” and “unconstitutional”, after they invented the individual mandate as part of their “conservative solution” to health care reform.

Here are some of the puppets willing to oppose the individual mandate for health care even though they are on the record supporting it.  They really are willing to do ANYTHING to cut taxes for billionaires – even if that means calling their own idea the ‘S’ word (Socialism):
